  • For some extra existential crisis, consider this.

In 1x1010^56 years, a new big bang could occur in the universe, through quantum tunneling.

If you multiply that with all possible ways in which all subatomic particles in the observable universe could be arranged (1x10^115), that might be a possible timeframe for a new universe exactly like ours.

That is, a universe in where you posted that comment, and I’m writing this right now. Maybe we’re doing that a few seconds differently, but overall it’s the same universe.

  • "This glass shines. It does so by guiding extremely tiny kernels (which repel from others) through a sort of ‘road’ where they pass easier. This road leads to itself only.

There is a place that pushes these kernels away to an area on that road they’re pulled towards. When it encounters a sort of barrier, it hits that, and splats like a fruit; that’s light."

    Or put even easier:

“There’s a place that makes tiny kernels. Those kernels are thrown from that place, following a path; when they hit their target, they scatter, giving light.”

    Edit: replaced tomato with fruit.

    For trans people it depends.

If you’re just starting estrogen-oriented HRT and you’re at a weight considered ideal for your pre-HRT body, then it is helpful to actually gain a few kg of fat, together with weekly hours of intense activity (like running, bicycling, squatting and planks, hip thrusts) coupled with moderate activity (like walking half an hour everyday) Then fat redistribution will be more effectively towards a )( body shape, with breast growth improved during the first year(?). Progesterone may aid in the last as well. This guide may help.

For testosterone-oriented HRT, I’m less certain, though I assume the fat redistribution’s accent is more strongly on fat loss, and exercise for muscle growth. Lifting, bench presses, planking, and the like for \/ bodies. Don’t forget leg day! Here’s a good training scheme.

That said, everyone has their own goals; important imo is that one remains healthy. A good diet is balanced and lowly processed, containing plenty vegetables and some proteins and water. And have a rest day. A nice fist rule is 4 days of exercise anywhere in the week and a day or two of relative rest.

A body fat percent healthy for all people (binary and nonbinary) would be around 14-25%. If you can get pregnant (and seek to do so), it’s better to be a little higher in this range, because during pregnancy, your body will prioritise the embryonic/fetal needs more than yours.

I sometimes still wonder why it got worse after. I think it’s got to do with Putin invading Ukraine’s Crimea and concurrently, spreading disinformation in the UK and US, causing Trump to win, and Trump in turn spreading even more hatred…

But that they could win was also reinforced by long standing social issues; the lack of proper and affordable housing, free healthcare, (and later, enormous inflation) for one!

In times like these, oligarchs try their hardest to indoctrinate the populace that playing out against each other is preferable as otherwise, groups they dislike get rights.

When these marginalised groups don’t get into the news much nor that negatively (but do get support from politicians), and the socioeconomic circumstances are good for the bourgeoise (and the proletariat too), I think it would be much better.
