Can someone tell Woolies and Coles to stop ripping the sheath off corn and selling it in plastic containers and fuck off?

I’d rather see them made out of hemp or wheat instead of just not having them anymore.

Most of what is made out of plastic we can just make out of other materials.

It’s just hurts fossil fuel corporations profits.

        Yep.

We jumped all in on plastic, because a lot of plastic is just waste from oil that couldn’t be made into gas or anything else.

It’s why plastic became synomous with cheap shit. It was basically free materials. Even compared to thin wire and a little strip of paper.

We’re destroying the planet so corps can save $0.000001 per unit.

We moved to phase these out last year in New Zealand. They’ve been replaced with a flimsy pressed cardboard equivalent which is just as pointless as the plastic bag the bread comes in.

NSW is ridiculously conservative and behind on so much. It took them (and Vic) 40 years to catch up with SA on container deposit. You still can’t ride a bike on a path there. Does all the entertainment still shut early?

Haven’t seen a plastic bread tag for over a year. The cardboard ones are not as sturdy but kids go through bread quickly and we have a lot of reusable clips.
