It took a bit to get the color balanced just right, but I think I’m satisfied. I think my whole big thing, the stuff I like photographing the most, is cities at night.

Thanks for seeing my work!

This is obviously fake, Seattle was burned down to the ground after George Floyd protests according to FOX.

Actually, it was burned to the ground due to a glue fire in a wood shop.

My hometown. I have come around to the way it looks without the viaduct. A lot of wistful homecomings featured a trip past the skyline, so it took me a while to get used to the idea. But, it does look good this way.

The new waterfront park is awesome too. You got Pike Place being hooked up to it via ramps and a giant aquarium (that leaks only a little). Pier 62 has all kinds of free events with crazy views.

It does seem kind of odd that every time I walk past the aquarium it is actively leaking into the sound. Like, I guess if the water is clean enough for aquarium animals, it’s clean enough for wild animals but something about it just feels off.

They opened the viaduct to bicycles for a ride the last day before it was demolished, and it sure was a scenic ride. Connecting the downtown core to the waterfront, and the new hardscape and aquarium expansion is definitely a significant improvement, though.
