Sort of – that’s it transliterated into the Latin alphabet. The real native word is apparently “საქართველო”, according to Wikipedia.
I disagree, we should rename the state Steve Harveistan due to family feud.
They’ve been pretyy free woth tear gas in the other one, also a ww1 toxic compound.
Further info on the compound. Wikipedia claims it to be as toxic as chlorine. That was also used in WW1, under the name “bertholite”.
Bertholite sounds like a Pedialyte competitor that would taste like chlorine
