Wellington police say a man has been "formally warned" over damage to mountain bike tracks on Mount Victoria near the city's CBD.

Fuck me, our justice system is beyond useless. Not even a financial contribution towards the tracks due to the damage done?

    Why is Wellington full of the weirdest people. He does all this and then turns himself in? What is going on in that mans head.

      I suspect his identity was well known, or at least suspected, in the right circles.

      Also, tramping attracts some absolute nutters, I’ve met a few over the years.
