What are the alternatives? I am am expat, and I like Bunnings (as in like it, I even purchased my water bottle there lol). Now that they started surveillance what are the similar stores where I can kill my curiousity?
I now just go to the specialist stores. Some times might be a bit more money, but often much better service.
Go to mitre 10 / dahlsens for generalist store (or if you’re lucky you might have a small family business)
Total tools / Sydney tools for tools
Reece for plumbing goods
Local wood provider for wood.
Metal land for any metal needs etc.

nah, they own TKD. Sydney tools is owned by the two brothers who started it.
