    AWS has been charging me $1,500/month for near-zero usage

    $1600 is not worth AWS’s time. They do not care, and you will probably get zero help.

    Find a smaller provider that still cares about small clients. AWS does not care unless you are spending $500k a month.

      That’s true, my company had barely any contact as they spent between 50 and 100k a month

      Although I 100% agree, something feels off and this person doesn’t give the whole picture.

      A whole year burning $1,500 a month? Did they not look at the itemization of the bill? They said they had infrastructure, if you spin up an instance of something like a virtual PC Amazon doesn’t care how much of that you use.
