Hey, I get the disappointment at petrified forest for not being what everyone pictures when they hear the words, but it’s awesome if you’re in the area. And if you’re not in the area, well Albuquerque is a better city to visit than it gets credit for and there are a bunch of national parks a day trip away. But seriously go look at the crystalized rings of paleozoic trees, it’s significantly cooler than Vegas.
