I crunched the numbers and I’d have to minimum double my vehicle dept to upgrade from an economy gas to anything fully electric. It would take about 5 years of driving at my current amount to earn the money back in gas savings. Which I’d have my current car paid off earlier.
Canada needs to partner with China to make a “Kei” style electric truck domestically.
The US should hopefully be getting a Slate truck this year that’s a fully electric, 90s-sized Ford Ranger. Don’t know if it’ll be in Canada, but it’s a step in the right direction. They said mid-twenties for price. No frills, just the basics.
