That’s the sole reason marketing exists. Just having a good product isn’t enough, and better marketing will help worse things dominate.
Then if you do dominate and still market well, competition isn’t a problem at all, no matter how good they are.

Porkbun required me to submit my ID and a selfie when I was about to buy a domain there. Had to go to Cloudflare.

Back in ~2006 a friend of mine made a controversial website with content related to Arizona, which is where godaddy is/was headquartered. A person was able to doxx him because they were friends with a godaddy employee who just looked up his account info. They’ve got no security and hire shitty people.
