I wrote off ubuntu for good 13 years ago when they let amazon advertise in the OS.
Cannonical is definitely not dodging the “enshittified part of the Linux Ecosystem” allegations.
Technically, Ubuntu is
behind the curvenot at the forefront on this. Universal Blue already includes quite a bit of AI stuff and Fedora has had drafted plans for a while.
