I’ve been in the AI space since ChatGPT first dropped. I’ve toyed around with a lot of Language Models, built random side projects, built a couple from scratch and I’ve spent hours looking at the math behind it all.
as the ai bubble continues to eat everything - power, water, gpus, ram, pcb production (!?!), wrecks economies and pits governments against their own citizens (see: NDA’s politicians sign with datacenter construction to hide their development and consumption from their own voters!) - perhaps we can be mature enough to realize it’s a problem before hooking it up to wetware?
