So how’s it going?
Had a service release this week… Europe was thinking the service behaved one way. 2 American teams thinking the service behaved another completely disparate way, ANDDD a New Zealand frontend team that we work with, crossing their fingers and toes, hopping to the nine hells that our service worked as we designed it because that’s what they were building for… … … … We are releasing on Monday. Which is 200% better than i feared but we were aiming for today and im still a little salty about it.

Still on the lookout for a really nice logo for LemmyNZ. Considering finding someone on Fiverr unless someone has another suggestion of where to find an artist?

I’ve been programming almost daily for the past month or two working on a game and its so so hard. It actually hurts my head trying to manage everything but its so satisfying to finally get something working. But im going insane because I really want to talk about how things are being implemented and how they should be implemented with another person but I have no one who can give me that chat im looking for. My friends listen but cannot provide any response.
Games are hard! Designing a game is a job in and of itself, then you have to actually program it! Anyone that completes a game with any amount of depth has completed a massive achievement.
