A warning from the sacred texts for anybody else looking to avoid math by doing biological sciences. Its all math, all the way down. Always has been
Modern software engineers don’t write their stuff in assembly and my degree program didn’t require math beyond Calc 2 for a reason–the biologies are diiiiistantly applied maths!

Hmmm, I thought these sorts of calculation based arguments were a key feature of the modern utilitarian schools of philosophy. But I’m also not sure, it’s been some time since I dug into this stuff. Happy to be corrected!
