They should just make it the default and add a subdomain for AI instead.
Yeah, although “no ai” is the real differentiator from the competition so it makes sense for them to keep it now it’s taking off.
What they really need to do is add a much easier way to find “no ai” from the main home page, as at the moment you wouldn’t know it exists. You can toggle duck ai off, but it doesn’t make it clear you’re now seeing the no ai version.
Don’t they have duck.ai?

While great, I still find myself weeding through tons of gen-AI slop website results during most of my general searches. The only thing I’ve found that helps with it is setting the date range to an end date before the advent of AI
