    It makes sense and it’s probably healthier (though not in every case) than getting sucked in by manosphere exploitation.

    Religion may increasingly function as a source of belonging, meaning and community, particularly for young men. In a world characterised by economic insecurity, social isolation and uncertainty about traditional masculine roles, religion can offer purpose, structure and a sense of place.

      We can and should get all of those benefits without the magical thinking. I wish people would stop tolerating literal death cults.

        Religion is very good at helping simple minded people find a community. And you can’t get much more simple-minded that the GenZ kids that cannot think without using a GenBS.
