I used to read The Drive. I read an article about all of the nonsense with Carlos Gnosn being smuggled out of Japan in a shipping crate and then they had an interview with him.

Whomever was interviewing them was just serving up softball after softball. No real content, just letting the guy spout off about whatever opinion he had. No actual details about what happened with his prosecution in Japan. In the comments, I made note of the one-sided nature of the interview. They deleted the comments. I commented that they’re deleting comments (I saw a few others that were saying the same thing deleted). They deleted those comments too. I stopped going there. Fuck that.

Now we have this fucking piece of shit article written by some fucking corporate bootlicker, serving up more softballs to a known piece of shit. The author was fucking arrested because of some Flock shit and he’s defending Flock? How fucking stupid do you have to be?!

Fuck The Drive and anyone who writes for them. Fuck the nobody author, fuck Garret Langley.

I realize I said fuck a lot. I stand behind it.

Just to get it out of the way and start, aside from a thank you, typically every executive we’ve had on this podcast, I kind of know them. I’ve worked in the industry for 15 years, so I usually know them, we’ve had a relationship. This is the first time I’ve ever met you. Given the podcast and everything, I have to ask: Are you a car enthusiast? Do you like cars? Do you care about driving? I’m genuinely curious.
