    It’s because the curve of innovation in technology has almost leveled off. AI/LLMs are where the money is currently going so that’s being innovated on, for better or worse. But most everything else are very tiny incremental changes.

    I haven’t really been excited about tech since the iPad was announced. There just hasn’t been much else. Even what is being called AI doesn’t really fascinate me because of how much everyone seems to be bandwagoning and wasting billions of dollars on what is essentially a series of statistical models that will always have a margin of error.

    Humans are in a stagnation period in many respects. It’s happened before and we’ll push through it at some point.

      Ar still isn’t here, not the form they marketted years ago with magic leap. I still want proper ar more than anything. I like playing with blender and game engines, I want to make magic irl, ar is the only options.
