It sucks that this shit is going to keep happening until there’s only like 1/4th of the USA being somewhat safe for us with varying degrees of bigotry in the others- oh fuck we are already there, aren’t we.

Don’t fret! We still have another 16 months left of this administration, plus the entrenched fascists across the red states and rural areas. It’s not going to get any better, any time soon! ☺️
Just imagine how bad it will get when the republicans have to throw some serious distractions during the ‘28 presidential race. Ya know, to dangle keys so that their brain-dead base will look away from the abject failure of their rule. And how much do we wanna bet that the establishment dems will stand up for us in any meaningful way?
We need a federal law protecting trans people, especially trans women.
