The State Library had written to the council reminding it of its obligations under guidelines issued by the Library Council of NSW and the Library Act “which was amended in 2026 to reinforce their independence to develop and maintain collections”.

“The State Library of NSW supports free and equitable access to information,” a spokesperson said.

“The library acknowledges that some books and materials may not align with everyone’s personal views, experiences or beliefs, but supports the right of individuals to make their own choices about what they read, view and access.

The many faith based thinkers having a negative influence on our society, the NT VAD legislation is another prime example, bastardised and watered down because God does not like VAD!

Faith based thinkers should be excluded from any vote requiring critical thinking and analysis based on facts, basically any vote really.

Also in terms of the genocide in Gaza, within both the Jewish and Christian ‘umbrellas’ there are conflicting sect views about this mass crime. So ‘God’ must be very indecisive, OR. the whole matter has zilch to do with God.

‘God’. Hmm… if these faith-based thinkers believe this they should be able to provide from the scriptures on which they base their reason some writing that confirms that God does not like or allow VAD.
