Do you want to defeat the anti-trans laws proposed and in place, as well as the political party responsible for them? I do. If you do as well, you shouldn’t trust Erin Reed’s judgement on this because they are wrong on this point.
I’m not suggesting there aren’t bad actors in the Democratic party - I’ve seen the two gubernatorial candidates from - ohio and illinois I think it was - and they’re bullshit and need to get their shit together or be bounced from the party. But none of that can happen by refusing to participate.
Refusing to participate makes the anti-trans legislators more powerful. WHY would we want that.
