    I’m guessing that if I have no idea what this is, it doesn’t apply to me, but I’m still curious what it is.

      It’s used to change the size of access to GPU memory by the CPU. For some operations it can improve performance quite a bit. This project aims to enable resizable BAR on systems that don’t have BIOS options for it, which likely doesn’t apply to you.
