I drove back from Cairns to Victoria point in one hit once. 22 hours I think. Ex wife drove all of 90 minutes of it. Only stopped for fuel. I was quite a Zombie by the time we got back. Do not recommend, would not do again.
I’ve done Melbourne to Brisbane over two days and that was me driving a four Cylinder four speed Holden Sunbird. That was in 1998 before lots of the motorways were built ( I think, or at least bypasses )

wow! I’ve done Melbourne - Townsville in two days but that was with two drivers. And I thought that was bonkers

Oh no! Not even the six cylinder full Torrie UC? Not awesome. I have done a lot of miles in an old sandman and that was made for highways
