Looking at the Wayback machine, it looks like they were started in Hawkes Bay then sold to CentralNic but still pretty OK. Something changed recently. They removed all chat or phone support and now it takes ages to get a response which does not resolve the issue.

Hmm there seem to be a bunch of happy customers in reddit from 2022 and earlier. Was your problem a particularly difficult one?
I haven’t used them so can’t comment on any change.
