So how’s it going?
Me to. Something I have been searching for a long while is an NZ mail provider. The ISPs used to give out free addresses but they’re phasing them out and now charge like $10 a month for dogshit service. It seemed like no one in NZ did email. Aus has fastmail (way to expensive for email) $8 a month for email is a funny joke.
Last week while doing my regular NZ mail searching I found https://www.freehosting.nz/ fully NZ hosted free mail service. To good to be true the service had just popped up i was like the 3rd person to sign up. I want to bring my own domain which they dont support but the guy has a paid side which is https://websnz.nz/ its $2 a month for email.
If it was just the free service i wouldnt really lean on it but because they have clear monetization to support it I chucked them some money for storage and email and i’ll see how it goes.
Interesting. I am keen to avoid all the AI slop projects but websnz looks like it predates that era. And they charge for usage, which is a cool model.
I am unreasonably excited about finding this.
