You’re correct, but calling equal rights and social acceptance for trans people “trans ideology” allows the fascists to dismiss our existence, rights, and needs as some modern fringe concept.
oh of course, but in dialogue with people IRL I find that kind of denial comes across as disingenuous compared to opening the door to discussing how ideology influences gender … I agree it is probably ground you don’t want to cede, but I’m not sure we’ve figured out the messaging yet
