I dont understand why this meeting would be needed. If someone pushed broken code you fire them, it’s that simple. Doesn’t matter if they used ai or were just drunk and not following protocols. Fire or write them up and they won’t do it again.

If he’s a tenured professor he has contractual work protections, he cannot be legally fired without cause.
