    They’re not trying to. In fact, they are explicitly trying not to. The whole point of the rapid expansion of ICE, the untrained government thugs, the unlawful tactics, is to instigate violence. So Trump can declare martial law, and deploy the military against the citizenry. They’re not trying to hide it, Trump himself keeps talking about declaring martial law, there’s no reason to not be aware.
