Back in my days it was called sales pitch, or an ad. Granted, I didn’t read very deep into it because I’m allergic to ads and the language like that makes me irrationally angry, but after my very brief glance and short clicking through links, I didn’t find any links to anything but another ads, endless paragraphs of ads no doubt generated by the same program they’re trying to sell.

If you’re willing to learn at any pace, and can do at least some “skilled work” as they call it, then just about everywhere. Usually you have 5 to 10 years to learn the language if you want to stay permanently. You can get by with English in most of europe.
Usually, if there is not a lot of jobs you can do speaking English, it means that the region isn’t exactly rich and/or accommodating anyway.

German universities are always hiring. Always. And in my experience they need just about everyone

And my point is, you only get recognition if you succeed. You do get mangled star with “you tried” misspelled on it if you didn’t, of course, but also you get harsh comments like mine.

That’s not what I’m saying, not at all, it’s sad you read it this way.
I’m saying that GNOME sucks balls right now, and the nobody can’t just say “but the developers are working really hard”, or “a bunch of people actually use it” and make it all suddenly go away. I’m not going to repeat all the specific points on why exactly it sucks, it’s not what the discussion is about, it’s not what my comment is about, and it’s not the what only available criticism is.

Everyone entitled to their opinion and their taste, and usually I am not this adamant about my personal preferences. I am just agitated by that notion some people for some reason have, that you’re not allowed to criticize stuff if it’s free and people totally work hard on it you guys. Pouring river water into your socks is free and requires effort, it doesn’t make it good or immune to criticism.

Remember kids, if someone doesn’t like the shit you like, it’s actually because they’re narcissistic actually.

Turned out, writing interesting compelling stories is hard actually. You need way more than an idea, especially if your idea is “what if true things, but the opposite”

Console experience is better for all kinds of disabilities. Text is the best instrument to convey info we have. For most of the accessibility issues the best thing you can do is to present text on a screen, and expect text as input.

The measurement of success isn’t the hours put into it. I will continue to bash Gnome because no matter how much hours the devs put and no matter how much they believe they know better, their products sucks all kinds of balls, and that kind of it. I don’t have any underlying agenda or double meaning behind it. The product is shit. You made a lot of effort and put a lot of labour in it. This, unfortunately, means you put a lot of labour into shit.

EU doesn’t have an immigration crisis, EU has right wing rasict ass neonazi assholes grifters problems, who are using racism and stupidity to gain power. It absolutely doesn’t correlate to anything in reality. You can’t convince those who are afraid of immigrants that not making people into refugees will help. They either hate poor non-white people and happy about the whole war situation, or they’re stupid and don’t have grasp on reality, they were said they refugees are the problem so they accepted it without knowing what that means.
People who oppose human suffering don’t see immigration as a problem.
