AMD has its own mix of issues with Vulkan between RADV (mesa), AMDVLK, and AMD’s proprietary driver on a per-game basis at times.

Good news, they’re going away. AMD is focusing entirely on Mesa now.

Because some people want to ban them entirely.

That’s badly regulating them.

It worked for JPEG XL, so I’m not surprised to see them following the same script with other features.

Fiddle with the numbers, ignore counter arguments, claim there’s no real support, close the discussion and proceed like everybody has come to a decision that just happens to match yours.
