I don’t use Mastodon beyond what my blog posts automatically. And I rarely make new blog posts anyways. I don’t really see the point of microblogging beyond getting keeping up with news from different organisations. But I don’t have the energy to keep up anyways, so I don’t need it.
In terms of keeping in touch with my friends and family I only use Signal.
It was to keep the screensaver from coming on while watching a movie with your date, right?
One I miss the most is one I had on my Nokia N900. It would take a photo with both cameras, aquire the current GPS position and upload all those things to my server. Then it would check for a file on my server and if it existed would create an SSH tunnel, allowing me to SSH into the phone from my server.
It was supposed to be an anti theft measure. Never needed it. Was still cool that the phone had this possibility.
That’s probably the new Extended Dynamic Range setting from Plasma 6.4. You can find it in the display settings. It is meant to adjust the display’s brightness to emulate an HDR display.
It’s turtles, all the way down.
Might and Magic anything beyond Heros of Might and Magic 3 is rarely if ever talked about. Although it was an awesome series.
Several months now. Maybe a year. Long Covid with ME/CFS has permanently tied me to my bed. I basically spend my time collecting energy to go number 2, which is the last thing I can stand up for. And only because using a bedpan looks about as strenuous as walking to the toilet. And that way my wife can change my bedsheets.
But not being able to shower is awful. I stink. And I have to watch parts where skin is rubbing on skin for infections. Zinc salve and a cotton scarf help.
