What sort of bugs are you experiencing? I’m using the official Jellyfin app and it’s been extremely stable on all my Apple devices. But I noticed a while ago that videos that were not MPEG were problematic so I converted all the AVI and WMV and WEBM to MP4 and it has been much more reliable. Scrubbing and previews have worked much better also

I would love to see a return to curated link collections. Each person’s hobbies and expertise represented in links to the places they contribute, the repositories they are part of, the resources they depend on, and the information sources they consider reliable.

With a functioning federal government I would agree with you. But unfortunately they have an open checkbook right now, with no accountability or critical oversight.
It’s a pretty normal model. You offer a free version to help make your product popular. People will use it at home and then at work they will gravitate to the thing they are familiar with. Small companies will start on the free version and eventually upgrade.
