Why would you say something so brave yet controversial?

Same, this or the Breeze Snow cursor, depending on my overall theme at the moment.

My GTX 970 has always worked on Linux Mint, even when it was only a year old

He disagreed with the fecal bacteria? I mean, whatever floats his boat, but they’re going to infect him anyway.
I could understand having a pet, but not taking in a random stray without question.
Some strange cat walks into my house? It gets plopped right back into the street, that ain’t my cat!
I mean, it’s a functional programming language and an incredibly good one. But it probably has a far too big footprint for their use-case…
Why aren’t python and bash be available in all your systems? Which languages would be?
I would’ve recommended python, otherwise perl or Haskell (maybe Haskell’s too big) or something, but now I’m worried that whatever reason makes python undoable also makes perl etc. undoable

Linux@lemmy.ml•Question: What is Linux misinformation?
0·2 years agoSpreading Linux misinformation is saying things about Linux that aren’t true.
Examples:
These can be jokes or trolling like “You can save space by removing the system’s pre-installed French language pack by running
sudo rm -fr /” (disclaimer don’t do this!)Or misconceptions, such as “You probably don’t have a virus even if you suspect it, due to Linux’s nature viruses aren’t possible” (you absolutely can)
I concur, my 7-year old laptop can run most light DEs flawlessly, such as Cinnamon, XFCE and i3, no matter the Linux distro or kernel. It struggles with even a fresh Debian GNOME install.
