Yeah there’s a problem with how science is portrayed to the general population. Most science is ”boring”. People want to hear about aliens, time travel and parallel universes.
Graphs showing that we should cut down our meat consumption is boring.
Stories about how a secret world state (possibly extradimensional lizards) is hiding a big ice wall from us is exciting.
Carving symbols on stone tablets was a mistake
Internet was a mistake. It gave all the anti science people and crackpots a platform for their ideas.

The lesbian couple in the movie have a child together. After being affected by time dilation, Lightyear teams up with their grand daughter.
I doubt a change in leadership will change things for the better. A new CEO will likely just double down on an already failing AI strategy.
And then they will cut down on other products so they can double down even more.
They only care about short term growth. They don’t care about if the growth is unsustainable in the long term.
This year’s numbers must be better than last year’s numbers.

2025 was the year when Xbox was outsold by Nex Playground. Xbox is not even top 3 in yearly hardware sales anymore.
