Or it was some random teacher. Or it was more than fifteen years ago. I dunno, it was just what I was taught.
I didn’t even twig that it was a song honestly, but that makes sense. Thanks for the reply! No harm, no foul.
My comment was entirely meant as a jest because you have a silly username, I’m sorry that it came across as mean.
I was mainly just confused why you called my Caroline, when an actually silly joke like Bloody Norah would have made a lot more sense. Been waiting for someone to use that 🤭
Yeah, alright buttnugget.
Yeah, I was taught BOMDAS here in Australia.

Did we not read the same comment? The advisor did have funding for that sort of thing and just plain didn’t offer. Maybe he wanted to have a big pizza party or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’d rather pay for search, than to be the product of a search engine. Self-hosting a decent index is much harder than it seems. Kagi aren’t ontologically evil in the same way as Google or Microsoft so I think it’s the best option.

I personally believe out of the closet Nazis that are allowed to exist are far more dangerous, but to each their own.
Also though, you really couldn’t be more wrong, as the person I replied to was about the Netherlands: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauline_Hanson’s_One_Nation
Perhaps if you applied a USA-esque “there are only two parties logic” but that doesn’t really translate well to most other countries political systems. Least of all one like Australia that uses preferential voting.

I mean, from all accounts of how Starmer has been as a prime minister, Labour marched hard towards the right to get elected.

The overton window of each country is unique. The far right in Australia is still less extreme than the far right in the US. For example, they likely wouldn’t just dismantle healthcare for everyone. They generally all rely on populism though.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did we culturally forget that digital art and photoshopping exist for a minute?

It directly has something to do with it though. She has claimed, again and again and again, that she would have been the best in her sport if not for trans women, when she came fifth behind four other cis women. Her activism actually got the NCAA to strip all titles from all trans women that have competed in the women’s division, including Lia Thomas’ fifth place finish against her. Let me repeat that, she is such a sore loser that she got the woman who tied with her for fifth place’s title stripped.
Also, did you even read the article and watch the linked video? A senator literally says she would have been the best without Lia Thomas competing, and she goes along with that. https://youtu.be/WZDYue_p2lo

What community do you think you’re in? Because it’s about and for a minority group. “Everyone” in that meme clearly was referring to everyone here in this group.
Mob mentality got us Trump.
Way to accuse trans folks of being Trump supporters I guess.

That fact you’re triggered enough[…]
You played your hand of being a shitty person. Please leave this space now.
While you’re right that guns wouldn’t be needed at a protest, and I absolutely agree, similar to the government in the UK there has been a lot of crackdowns on pro-Palestine protests that have been labelled as antisemitism. My worry is that this incident will result in further crackdowns on legal protest rights that don’t have anything to do with guns. My concern is also validated by the article, which mentions the NSW government is working on laws to restrict protest rights. That might have been unrelated and prior to this incident, but this is only going to galvanise this effort.
