Yeah, that’s suspicious. It could be that it’s not automatic and they’re handwriting-typing it each time. I personally don’t have an email signature set up for the “Regards, Name” bit as I tend to change them based on tone and if I want an end signature at all.

I disagree with this comment only because it is building and bolstering the precedent that everyone is using these models all the time and every written thing is generated from an LLM, even when there is no evidence to support it.

The various grammar errors and random capitalizations push toward “human” and the only support for it being LLMgen’d is the fact that it is poetic.

This does sound like a Marvel mutant? I think his name was “Furnace”? He had no jaw and his chest was flaming energy?

Edit: That was not his name:

Jono Starsmore, also known as Chamber, is a mutant who possesses mutant abilities including the generation and manipulation of concussive blasts of psionic energy from a furnace in his chest, telepathy for communication and mental manipulation.

Your callout to the USSR belies the lack of point you professed to, as well as your astounding lack of imagination. The US Post Office is not a business and yet yearly goes about the process of organizing national mail delivery. There are plenty of organizations that operate in the abscence of a profit motive.

Hell, people could do all those things – actuarial work, operations planning, etc – for simple altruism. I’m a misanthrope and even I remember such things exist.

Assuming you mean, I have to take myself less seriously. I make fun of myself all the time. I am, by practice, one of the least serious people I know. I just don’t like the art and every caricature I’ve seen is in this style.

Do people actually like caricatures or is it just a thing that sticks around because they were famous, like clowns and mimes?
