I do use dual boot, but still have Winboat on the Linux side because some windows specific apps that aren’t demanding. The ones that are demanding in performance are the ones that I use on Windows natively.

Its not showing after reboot. I wanted to trace it back but theres no trace, hmm

Seemed to be /proc/4212 but its gone after I killed the process.

Thanks, this is useful info. It doesnt appear to be restarting itself after I killed the process. Is this a good sign?

I think I solved it? I ran
sudo kill -9 <PID>
(PID being 4212 in my case)
Memory usage is back to normal afer a reboot, seems fine!

yeah thats what i thought :/ how tf do i get rid of this?
Try this! Fusion360 for Linux - project by Cryinkfly. I’ve seen it work for some people but I havent gotten it to work well for me.
i like Nobara (basically Fedora with Nvidia drivers out of the box). Compare the looks and workflow of Desktop Environments (Gnome, Kde, etc) to see which fits best for you. To install, watch a yt tutorial.
Yeah it’s most likely that! Thanks
