From their perspective, they have to deal with re-training and support and existing workflows. The license cost is only one part of a contract like this.

It was probably a negotiating tactic anyway

Bootlicker

Obama is also an elite and a war criminal so Twitter is the perfect place for him

I started on pihole, then the devs messed it all up and made it complicated, so I started using unbound on OPNsense and holy poop was it so much easier for me. But I mean as long as everyone is using something, that’s what really matters. Don’t let these corporations take even an inch

i use them and i am satisfied

as someone who wants the global population to be reduced drastically, i support this
but also this is sad
cognitive dissonance sucks

Agreed. I used pihole initially when I was first learning networking, but when I got a dedicated machine and installed OPNsense, I learned how much easier so many things can be.

Don’t make any of them accessible from the Internet then. VM escape is also possible for someone with skills
i am satisfied with noip

Unbound on OPNsense ftw

I was in your position a few years ago. Went the Proxmox route. For many services, don’t make separate VMs, but instead separate LXC containers. Saves time and space.

Yeah, any time someone tells me to just read the arch wiki for something unrelated to arch I automatically know they will never provide anything valuable to humanity
At least we would all be able to slow down for awhile
