    As others have said it’s dead man’s fingers. They still scare the shit out of me when I see them popping up in my raised beds lol

    Google Lens says it’s Dead Man’s Fingers (Xylaria polymorpha). I guess it’s possible. It seems to really live up to the polymorpha part of it’s name in images.

    Maybe a colony of enteridium lycoperdon slime mold? Yours looks disturbingly like teeth. Some look like this.
