    You have a cherry tree and it still has fruit on it? The one we had when I was a kid needed bird netting or we end up with no cherries and fat, sometimes drunk birds.

    I got new cherry trees. 3rd year no crop. They’re now 8 to 10ft tall. Any idea if they’re getting close enough to give cherries?

      I’ve never grown cherries but I grow other things and they tend to love slow release nutrients.

      I’m sure they’d be very happy if you give them an inch or two layer of compost around their base, and may reward you with a bountiful harvest next year in return.

      No need to dig it in or anything. Nature will do her thing, with worms and such. Just dump and spread around.
