Usually I post my pictures in a smaller PNG format and that can reach 150MB for a full-size 24mp picture, but here’s one in JPEG, so you can have amazing wallpaper and I can upload it without lemmy.world hitting me in the jaw.
Thanks for seeing my work!
Hard to imagine the entire state of Oregon looks like this, but there it is, America’s most northern barren desert.
Three-quarters of Oregon is desert! We’re mostly just known for Willamette Valley being all saturated with green. There’s some extreme biodiversity out here!
We also have the US’s deepest river gorge, deeper than the Grand Canyon in addition to all the high deserts!

I think it’s this one!
The hilarious bit is that I took this picture at the red pin:

Would recommend looking into mozjpeg. I export my photos at 100% quality jpeg then run it through mozjpeg at around 80%~ (don’t remember the exact number) so that the file size is tiny but I can’t even pixel peep any loss of quality.
Gets my 61MP photos down to 8-20MB typically
I put my stuff out at 95% through Darktable and it looks pretty good, but I’m generally distrustful of JPEG in particular, and opt for PNG for my art.
I too hate quality loss so I’ve done a lot of my own testing to squeeze as much space out before I notice any quality loss
