If you use a trans person’s preferred name or call them by their requested pronouns, then you are more likely to support political violence, a new report commissioned by the Department of Health and Human Services claims.

So, the HHS fabricated a study that paints everyone that even acknowledged the concept of trans people existing as violent extremists.

Does anyone have a better secondary source, that might put this into context? I’ve only found the OP (who is okay, I guess) and then dozens of right-wing tabloids taking this at face-value. This is the most dystopian shit I’ve read lately, so why isn’t this bigger?

Giving people their autonomy and right to choose creates… authoritarianism… huh. Well we know that a lot of Americans are too stupid to know what socialism is so this load of bullshit might fit right into their cognitive biases.

Rutgers is a shitshow lately, huh? Both the lead author on this paper and the doctoral candidate (lmao) second author are at Rutgers.

In July, it was discovered that a Rutgers dean pocketed over a hundred thousand dollars in “speaking” fees from the university on top of her $396,594 salary.

Then a few days ago, another dean was arrested for taking up skirt photos and videos.

    Classy place, that Rutgers.

There is not really a context to put it in. I skimmed the report which does for a fact come from the HHS(not technically “approved,” as of now), admittedly not being one of the paid-to-get-results statistics chaps that can string together any outcome with another money behind them, and what it boils down to is “people who actually respect other people have strong feelings against the Fascists who want people dead and gone.” Of course, they specifically crafted questions to get the answers they wanted, focusing on very specific, very hostile, very troublesome persons and institutions for respondents to answer with regards to.

It is amusing in a way that the Fascists are trying to paint themselves anti-authoritarian. I guess they figured out that branding people “communists,” no longer worked as well for their ends.

I’m no big city scientist but that’s about what I gathered.

I will do my best to use people preferred name and genders. If you asked me what I might do if trans people were being arrested I would probably answer “defend them, with violence if necessary “ that’s not authoritarian
