Allegations of fraud and misconduct have been revealed in tip-offs sent to the federal watchdog overseeing the Cheaper Home Batteries Program.
The untested claims were obtained by the ABC through a Freedom of Information request.
Shadow Minister for Energy Dan Tehan is calling for an independent Senate inquiry into the revelations.
Completely unsurprised.
Same thing happened with then solar Panels rebate.
Same thing happened with the LED globe rebate.
Worse things happened with the Insulation rebate!
More than likely the exact same people every time.
They need to be prosecuted.
The contracts and agreements need to be watertight.
They won’t be because they are probably the same scam artists running NDIS scams and running for local council.
