Oslo University Hospital Five researchers at Norway’s national gender incongruence clinic are appealing a university committee’s finding they committed “gross negligence” and scientific misconduct …

Note: The article takes a “neutral” stance, but the researchers were anti-trans activists who violate the consent of patients and defied ethical standards. It is - at this point - unfortunately the only article in English which covers their misconduct.

Some of the researchers involved have a long history of transmedicalist and transphobic activity and actions against us. Some have attended those famous anti-trans meetings in germany. Some recently started a new study where they tried to make it not clear that they are involved. Not to mention that they keep trying to have a monopoly on treating trans people that is as exclusionary and drawn out as possible to stop as many as possible from transitioning. They keep arguing in favor of conversion therapy (but phrased in such a way that it doesn’t sound like conversion therapy).

Much like the NHS in england they ignore all existing research and start whining and crying when people call them out on trying to produce specific results with their unethical studies. I can’t believe they just get to keep hurting us again and again.

they originally asked for patient consent to be waived so they could do their study, then when denied went and got the data on a technicality and used it for their study anyway. fucking blatant skirting of ethics rules, to say nothing of their bigoted intent in the first place.
