    There’s not a huge disconnect, there’s a lack of services. If I was to catch public transport to work it would take ~60 minutes, it’s a 12 minute drive. It’s currently not a practical option.

      The huge disconnect is thinking electric cars are good/green

      also, I suggest you choose to live closer to work,

        Electric cars are not perfect, but are an improvement on internal combustion engines.
