@zero_gravitas they don’t want my blood. I went back as normal a few years ago, but although I’ve been a registered donor since I was 18, they no longer want AB+ blood from women over 55 (I think that was the age). They’ll take your plasma gladly, but not your blood. It would have been nice if they’d told me that before I trekked in that day. Mobile units can’t do plasma donations. So now it’s a 4 bus return trip which I try and do at least once a year. #AB#Blood#Plasma#Canberra
