In short:

The American Broadcasting Company has axed Jimmy Kimmel Live! for comments the host made referencing the murder of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has received hundreds of complaints intended for America’s ABC about the show being cancelled.

The vast majority of complaints sent to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation contained expressions of dismay, with many citing concerns about free speech and the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

We should start writing basic political education into Bluey, pitched at the level of 5 year olds, and start pushing it into the US via Disney+ so their kids, and perhaps some of their parents have the tools they need to understand the world around them. Because sure as shit they aren’t getting it from their own media and education system.

I’ve got a kid on the way and I’m going to have to start learning what all these programs are. All I can remember is Thomas the Tank Engine and Magic School Bus. I’m guessing they’re not on anymore.

        Hey me too,

I was hoping to just buy Thomas the tank engine DVDs or something and then tell the kid that’s all there is until they hit school.

My wife said that’s a bad idea, so 🤷

If your kid is into trains, go with Chuggington over Thomas. Dinosaur Train is also pretty great. Time-travel, Trains and Dinosaurs!
