    Sorry, a bit unrelated to the main topic of the article but…

    “It is wrong to pardon individuals convicted of violent crime, especially when many of the victims of their violence were law enforcement officers,”

    What the fuck does “especially when many of the victims of their violence were law enforcement officers” mean? Is it more OK to attack civilians then?

      Yes. Law enforcement officers are enforcers of capitalist oppression and thus more worthy than common proletarian scum.

      yes, in the U.S. hurting or killing a cop generally results in the full power of the state being leveraged against you

      people can be killed every day in gun violence, but the one time a man on a run ended up shooting a cop when trying to get away, suddenly the radio is giving updates on the situation and memorials are being held and state officials are taking an interest in a local shooting, etc.
