This is gorgeous Florencia🥲, the very first sentence admits operation paperclip was necessary for the US. But it doesn’t go farther into describing the anti queer campaigns they committed domestically, and abroad. I did find it amusing Julia Curlee was directly responsible for the OPM leaks.

It is gorgeous. I’m very disappointed on how shitty the Trump admin has behaved.

The article does cover the lavender scare. What other campaigns do you mean?

And I can’t find Curlee anywhere in that Wikipedia article. How is she responsible?

Honesty, you can cover operation «Employment of Homosexuals and Other Sex Perverts in Government» under the lavender scare, so my apologies there.

And I can’t find Curlee anywhere in that Wikipedia article. How is she responsible?

Timeline. She was employed for direct security before, during, and after the OPM breach. One can conclude she was responsible for the negligence that lead to the breach. Shortly after, we (assume) are both well aware how Putin took care of the vulnerable assets.

Why shouldn’t we just dismantle the CIA? Seems like all they do is support fascists and kill brown people.

I’m also amazed that so many LGBT people joined up, it was obvious what would inevitably happen

      Wrong agency.

I don’t understand this defeatous mentality. If LGBTQ+ employees just quit, who will stand up for their rights? Telling LGBTQ+ people to quit is anti-LGBTQ+ itself!

Bigger picture, why work for the United States government if it’s going to continue to erode and eliminate your rights? Anyone with half a brain could see where the US was and is headed. I never said they should quit, I’m saying they never should have applied

What you’re saying is that the ship is sinking but we should stand back and let other people try to save it. The only way for change is to be involved directly.

Nope. I’m saying don’t apply for a job working for the captain of the ship when he is publicly killing people he doesn’t like and doesn’t care if the ship sinks or not

CIA will never support LGBTQIAPoC+ rights.
You’re correct, wrong agency, wrong branch.
Now tell a Demagogue to support queer siblings of color.
        What’s AIPAC?

Owning the means of their espionage. I don’t know how much more owning it could get?

              I don’t think I’m politically illiterate.

Do I even want to know?

This was more of “are you willing to engage in your policies being criticized, or should I disengage my curiosity”? I don’t enjoy questioning those unwilling to reflect.
