Opened in 1846 on The Mound in the Old Town, the neo-Gothic towers and the central staircase to the Assembly Hall do most of the heavy lifting. The lone figure in the trench coat walking through the arch framing was clearly hired for scale.

Nykirken (The New Church) in Bergen was built in 1621.
New compared to the university itself, founded in 1583. Everything is relative.
“Newer” is relative. “New” is absolute :)
